Cortona
became a destination due to the “Under the Tuscan Sun” movie.

Plebiscito Square with the Town Hall, and Piazza Garibaldi with the Spanish Governor’s Palace are the heart of the village.
Castellina in Chianti

Pienza
The English Patient (1997) and Romeo and Juliet by Zeffirelli (1968) were filmed in Pienza’s village. The town of Pienza, UNESCO World Heritage site, it’s famous around the world for its amazing pecorino cheese and the surrounded are of Val d’Orcia. Built of local yellow-ochre and white travertine stone, the pedestrian town of Pienza was designed by one of the most famous Florentine architects of his time, the Rossellino.
